Is our expanding galaxy responsible for volcanoes?
Large volcanoes spit matter into space , so do solar flares etc. Is this because our galaxy is expanding , producing a greater differential pressure either side of our atmosphere ? Space is not a vacuum and would need some degradable matter to continue expansion .

The expanding universe is due to the big bang theory. Volcanoes are just openings in the Earth's crust and just let out some pressure. On a bigger scale, I am sure that volcanoes have very little effect on the expansion.
